Ashlee Parker

Ashlee is a Licensed Professional Counselor.
She completed a residency in Atlanta, Georgia and has many years experience working alongside clinicians and professionals from various cultures, which has added to her experience as a multicultural professional.
She is licensed in West Virginia
Ashlee’s primary focus is working with adolescents (age 15+) and adults.
Some of her clinical interests are oppositional defiant disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, dissociation, self-harm, binge eating disorders, domestic violence or coercion, neurodiversity, and sexuality/gender-related issues.
She is passionate about serving those in the BIPOC community and personally understands the complexities of ADHD.
She has spent much of her counseling career working with individuals experiencing mental health symptoms in in-patient, outpatient, and community-based settings.
She enjoys working with professionals and aspiring professionals of all skill levels. As a previous business owner, Ashlee understands the pressures and responsibilities related to work performance and navigating these alongside day-to-day stressors.
Ashlee utilizes an integrative approach to counseling with a foundation in Psychodynamic Theory and emphasizes a strengths-based perspective. She believes identifying strengths can develop a strong sense of self-efficacy and resilience to empower individuals in taking an active role in their own treatment.
Aside from time helping others, Ashlee enjoys spending time with her family and two Rottweilers. She is an active advocate and lover of animals and believes in the power of community
