Felicia Hooper is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Approved Licensed Professional Supervisor.
She has a Masters of Arts in Counseling from West Virginia University.
Felicia has experience in in-patient psychiatric settings, college counseling centers, and various outpatient settings.
She is licensed in West Virginia
Felicia’s primary focus is working with adults age 18+.
Some of her clinical interests are depression, anxiety, life transitions, identity development, and grief and loss.
Felicia deeply values the role of culture in both her personal and professional life. Multiculturalism is centered in her clinical work. Her area of emphasis is working with individuals who experience the harmful effects of marginalization, systemic oppression, and social inequity.
Her approaches to therapy is integrative to focus on the unique needs of each client. She utilizes Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Systemic Counseling theories.
Felicia loves a good sale and a great latte! And you will rarely catch her without a plethora of pens!
