Brittany Rinehart
MA, NCC
Hi, I’m Brittany, and I’m so glad you’re here!
Brittany Rinehart is a Provisionally Licensed Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor.
Brittany received her Master of Arts in Counseling from West Virginia University.
She is licensed in West Virginia
From kiddos to older adults, Brittany is passionate about providing a space for each client. Her primary focus is children (age 6+), and adults (under age 30).
Some of her clinical interests are anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, and interpersonal conflicts. She also has some experience with substance use disorders.
As a therapist, Brittany’s main goal is to create a space in which each person can be authentically themselves and feel safe to express their thoughts and feelings (even the uncomfortable ones.)
She doesn’t believe in a “one size fits all” approach to therapy, and approaches each client with curiosity and understands that everyone has unique life experiences that impact their mental health and well-being.
Brittany primarily uses humanistic and person-centered approaches in her work, while integrating interventions and principles from theories such as ACT, DBT, and CBT.
She is strongly committed to destigmatizing mental health and believes that therapy should be an encouraging and supportive experience for everyone.
She would love to walk with you during your journey of healing and growth.
When not at work, you can find Brittany with a good book, a cup of tea, and lounging with her pets. She also enjoys traveling to new places and spending time with friends and family.
