Tori Garnes

Tori Garnes is a Provisionally Licensed Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor.

She is licensed in West Virginia.

Tori’s primary focus is working with children (6+), adults, and families.

Some of her clinical interests are depression, anxiety, grief and loss, interpersonal conflicts, adjusting to change, and trauma.

Tori’s approaches draw from multiple techniques (e.g. art, play, movement, mindfulness) and theories to create an engaging and individualized approach for all clients.

She believes it is her role as a counselor to be a witness for all clients, meeting them where they are while creating a safe environment. She works collaboratively with clients, with them as the experts of their lives.

Tori seeks to understand the world of her clients in order to better assist them in meeting their goals. She has confidence in every person’s capacity for growth and healing.

Tori loves nature and exploring new places. She also enjoys hiking, biking, camping, walks, taking naps, and reading. Tori likes spending time with family and friends, and her Therapy Dog, Camper who you’ll often find at work with her.
